Best Playdough Ever


• Mix thoroughly dry ingredients

1 cup flour
1/4 cup salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar


• Whisk together until blended:

1 Tbsp vegetable oil to
1 Cup water total including juice colour
add colour as needed
* beet juice, spinach juice, carrot juice *

(for older children cake decorators paste or liquid makes brighter colors)

• Whisk/mix wet and dry ingredients

• Cook in double boiler until playdough is nearly set (glossy).

• Allow to cool enough until able to knead

• Store in air tight container.


NB - I usually double or triple this recipe!
