Ode to an Old Pair of Boots

Those boots were made for walking and
By Jove they surely did!
Their Master was a caring man,
Discussed his plan, ad lib.

Together then they reached the top
Of mountain; beaches scanned
And streets and cities interest found
In many a far off land.

Now the time has passed and friends must part
Those boots companion new:
Their Master rests with great grand child
To kiss, and cuddle too!
